Kathy Bates and Edward Furlong hard carry the movie. Heartful at times, but it doesn't get past it.

A frustrating watch tbh. Mom pissed me tf off when she turned away the Christmas gifts from the church and made her babies feel rotten! And they got her gifts! Selfish and too damn proud. The kids were too small to have so much responsibility. When she said she felt like she was pushing the car and Lynn said we’re pushing with you even if it feels like we’re not. They all worked their ass off and she took that for granted. she didn’t treat them like kids.
Mr moon is an angel and the hero of the movie.
Irl she had double the amount of kids!!
