Tim Madden awakens one morning to discover a fresh tattoo on his arm, his car covered in blood, his girlfriend in bed with the town sheriff, and a woman's severed head in his weed stash. Sensing a setup and in desperate need to clear his name, he begins an investigation that soon begins to expose a web of corruption in the small coastal community of Provincetown.

Idiosyncratic, almost to the point of parody… between the cuckholding and homosexuality and broken english and impotence and weed haze and cocaine lines lies an eerily prescient portrayal of modern conservatism, a barren wasteland where antagonism is pleasure and dreams become reality with a monkey’s paw-like bite… amid the self-prescribed confusion and pain and suppression, all one can do is swing aimlessly and wait to be consumed by the tides
