I think they gendered that kid ambiguously on purpose. Awesome Also why did bitzer clip through the tree like that. And then he looked at the audience like it had something to do w us.. what was the joke there? Plot armor? Was there some physical gag I missed? I didn’t even laugh cause I was so confused. What happened there. It felt more absurd. It felt less like he was aware that he was in a cartoon but more like he was aware that something was vaguely and inexplicably wrong with that tree… and maybe even his town as a whole.. I was perturbed to say the least
