Yep, The Fog is fucking awesome. The enclosed environment, the ominous attackers, BLAKE! Blake looks so cool I can't get enough. The folklore is truly what makes it because it seems to just be a made up horror story to most, which makes it even more delightful to see them get killed. The visuals are just top-tier, everything being coated in a thick blanket of fog, and the lighting, especially in the radio tower, is intoxicating. That final cutaway is just the perfect way to end this. John Carpenter is possibly the 80s Hitchcock, mastering thrills with each film over and over. I think that this should have been Halloween II because I think that would have got people into the anthology franchise. But no, everyone sucked off Michael. This B-horror is nothing other than tremendous!> "11:55, almost midnight. Enough time for one more story."
