It took a while for me to get into, and I even got scared I wouldn't like it as much as I had hoped, but the third act brilliantly ties it together. It's a film full of hypocrisy and contradiction, mainly focusing on the sexualisation of women but also education, Romanian culture and history, politics, fascism and more. It's an incredibly rich text and the fact that the final trial scene is able to weave a red thread through all those different thematic concepts is seriously impressive.
A better pandemic movie than Eddington
