damien is a little piece of shit and robert & keith were such a cool team i loved to see them work together
i've already seen the remake for david thewlis so the plot wasn't anything new to me but i really loved this original version so much

like the exorcist; except you know that kid's the devil since the opening credits. you know it's bad when doctor who shows up to warn you about your demon kid
yeah this is very obviously from the '70s studio catholic horror boom. i enjoyed the weird bromance globe-trotting adventure and the ominous goosebumps-camera sidequest. just so not what i was expecting from this. ultimately ok but not my cup of tea — except for that fucking decapitation scene. i cannot FUCKING believe gerald ford adopts the antichrist at the end
