Chile why was the main guy giving Bo Sinn vibes😭😭😭 

Anyways I fw this. Not as good as The Stuff, but i still enjoyed the film’s humour and dialogue and characters. The soundtrack was fun and the lighting/colour palette gave late 80s vibes and reminded me of The Stuff. The rating would’ve been higher if there were more horror elements intertwined, but I still had a lot of fun!

I have been on a Larry Cohen journey this year and I was so pleased to see this included in the list above AND that it’s a conspiracy movie!

For sure not my favorite Cohen so far, but truly great and still has that Cohen signature that I know and love. The guy is so exceptional at taking everyday things and turning them into forces of evil.

Like who on earth thinks “I’m gonna make a movie and the ambulance is going to be used for evil” Larry freaking Cohen, that’s who!

And I learned that Jamie Lee Curtis was supposed to be in this?! Ugh. Now I want that.

this was camp, so much fun and it kept me guessing. my main issue was how creepy the lead character was and how we were obviously meant to find that endearing
