J'ai passé un super bon moment, le film était drôle, les plans beaux, les costumes vraiment wow et l'acting très bon (je retiens Eva Green qui a dead ça et Louis Garrel qui était infiniment drôle et girly pop sans le vouloir). Athos il est trop bête jppp, Portos je l'aime trop (il est bi c'est canon 🤭), Aramis il voulait que (en même temps c'était Romain Duris), les femmes olala je vous aime continuez vous êtes trop fortes. Le scénario était parfois un peu suspect mais voilà j'ai pas lu les livres (mais c'était supect). Pour finir parlons de François Civil mon nouvel amoureux voilà je n'ai pas honte (c'était kristoff j'ai juré), François drague moi aussi VOILÀ (désolée Solène et Léane)

I loved this version! I’ve enjoyed every adaptation of Dumas’ book that I’ve seen so far. The 1993 version is swashbuckling and a fun coming-of-age story. The Musketeer has amazing action sequences. Paul W.S. Anderson’s film is silly and fantastical. However, this one might be my favorite, based on how It captures Alexandre Dumas’ skill of weaving complicated webs of characters, plots, and ideas. The action and violence are visceral. The characters feel like actual people, including the women; Eva Green as Milady and Algerian-French actress Lyna Khoudri as Constance are amazing. I was most impressed by the weight of the relationships. Other movies have made light of Athos and Milady de Winter’s history, while here I felt the pain and betrayal. As well, as the weight of loyalty and of the friendship between D’artagnan and the musketeers. Also, the sets and costumes sell the scope as grand and authentic. I’m so lucky this is a two-parter!
