I watched this movie in the 6th grade, and I hated it. I rewatched it my freshman year of high school, and I still hated it. 

What I didn’t know when I rewatched it at 15 years old is that for some reason I would keep rewatching it. 

For weeks at a time. The Apparition is synonymous with my freshman year. 

My stepmom groans when it’s mentioned. 

The Apparition sucks. This movie is shit. Nothing interesting happens. This movie is not worth revisiting. 

And yet. 

And yet I keep watching it. I keep mentioning it to friends and family. And now here I am logging this movie for a second time at the age of 25.

I felt the urge to rewatch this today, and I was helpless to overcome it.

I got Apparition’d on April 4, 2026, and I hated it.
