I am actually crying. I spent the whole time just smiling for no reason, other than how brilliant it is to hear these stories. I wish we got to hear a bit more about Roz, I'd love to hear about her experiences as a trans woman in the scene.
It's interesting to see how some of the same arguments about feminism/lesbianism/dykes/femmes/butches/BDSM/kink/politics etc are still being discussed and argued over to this day (mainly on twitter and TikTok).
In a strange way, this film made me feel a bit less hopeless about the current situation in America. Of course it is utterly horrific to be losing what so many people fought so hard for, but this film shows that change can and will happen. Also feels great to have some more ammunition against the people who claim that being queer/GNC/rebel is a purely modern concept. Check mate, conservatives.
