Reminiscent of Dog Day Afternoon in modern times featuring a Marine vet trying to shine light on some severe systemic issues regarding how America treats its veterans. John Boyega has beaten the Star Wars fraud allegations. I’ve sincerely enjoyed him in everything that I’ve seen him in both before and after his run in the sequel trilogy (he is also one of the best parts about the trilogy). This is heartbreaking, intense, and eye-opening. A sad story but a story that needs to be told. RIP Brian Brown-Easley. You deserved better.
