It felt like this had no idea how to be a true crime mockumentary. Every new "clue" they got ended with them kinda concluding that Gary went missing in the desert. Like we already know that, they present a clue like, "we found his car, but no sign of Gary, so we know he is missing in the desert." I'm sure I'm being a bit hyperbolic, but it really felt like 70 minutes of being told that Gary went missing in the desert and then 10 minutes of some genuinely creepy found footage.
