i wanna like this but i just can’t. i loved where it was going and how it was anticipated to play out but it was a huge let down. most of the dialogue and scenes felt unnecessary, though the girls’ performance was amazing!

My most disappointing Friday the 13th movie pick so far.

Here is what makes this somewhat bearable:
- the minute the OG theme started playing and Chris’ voiceover is happening at the same time, the hype was real ngl.
- the possessed kids are just rage baiting at one point of the exorcism.
- they tease the comeback of an OG character like the MCU.
