Almost 2 hours of not knowing what the hell is going on
Szamanka isn't bad, but it's certainly complicated. For most of its runtime, I had no idea where the story was headed, and don't get me wrong, the film's bizarre and eccentric nature is enough to elevate it at times, but the uncertainty of not knowing where the story is going becomes more frustrating than interesting.
Even so, the camerawork is good, the performances are full of the necessary euphoria, and the ending ultimately left me satisfied.
