James Bond before James Bond. Captain Hugh “Bulldog” Drummond became a stock character for the gentleman spy. Drummond isn’t just a brawler; he's a suave ex-British officer fighting evil masterminds. Coming out during the early sound era, it showcased how dialogue could enhance suspense and character. Very much a relic of its time; normally, I dread 1920s movies, but this one sort of flew by!
