I went into this movie thinking it was about JFKs life. To the contraire monfraire, Costner plays the DA that tried the only person in conspiracy for the murder of JFK. Heavy on the Conspiracy side but the way the facts are laid out here it’s hard to ignore, something other than Lee Harvey shooting out that building (Gary Oldman). Joe Pesci had a set of eyebrows that should be studied. Costner did okay with that old time Texas accent. Long freaggin Movie be prepared. A-

This movie tells that finding out the man who killed the president was really that serious for 3 hours.
This gotta be one of the best political crime movies i've ever watched in my life.
And one of the best ending scenes I've ever seen.

this film has been relevant across all of the US's blood-soaked history but especially the day after an embarrassing debate between two geriatric war-mongers whose only goal is to acquire more blood for the blood machine of our government, where we as americans no longer have a say in how our government is run, we can only watch on as the establishment pulls the strings that run our world. the truth is a privilege that we are no longer entitled to

anyways can't believe donald p bellisario was so pissed off watching this movie that he decided to dedicate the most insane two-parter of his television show to debunking this, INCLUDING a near-identical montage opening. hey bro i'm not sure if it was that deep. when donald sutherland's scene started i SAT UP!! STAND UP FOR THE GOAT!!! this reminds me of the time my dad and i were so enraptured talking about the jfk assassination that he ran a red light

The editing was masterful which captured the paranoia and the different tellings of one event so gooooddd. Also the whole court scene and Jim's monologue is definitely one of my favorite scenes, EVER. Same with Mr. X/Donald Sutherland's scene, that man ate up his 10 minute screentime and made it one of the most memorable parts of a 3 hour movie holy hell.
