First things first, definitely could’ve been shorter, was a bit bloated but the story itself is very powerful, the only reason I didn’t have much of a problem with it was because trials are usually bloated so it’s definitely realistic, I couldn’t not recommend this one. The judge is a stone cold guy, letting nothing waiver him and I love that about him. The ending when he metaphorically drives the dagger into the prisoner was tough as fuck. That guy had gloves of steel. The defendants speech was powerful, the prosecution did a great job as well. I really did like this one. I would definitely watch it again.

a very important and complex film that provides a good insight into this time. it doesn't adress the question of a person's moral innosence, because that is clear, but rather how individual criminal guilt could be proven. i hope that something so abhorrent never happens again in human history, but i fear that awareness of these atrocities will fade over time and consequently relativized them.
