was really hoping i would enjoy this more. the aesthetic and premise are amazing but the story feels rather dull after the first fifteen minutes.

Wooooow. Super bleak and melancholy, but so interesting and well done! Fuse being dehumanised so thoroughly that he no longer can think for himself, forever subjected to pain and loss is so tragic, and fits the storybook element of the movie so well! I really am surprised this wasn’t more popular when it came out, because I think it’s a really interesting and well done character study on how war affects people. Anyway, very cool stuff.
