This movie is so bad I genuinely don't know what to do with myself
One normal character, Ward, and guess what. They killed him too
I called that Ward was gay right at the start. I was right. Then I said they're gonna kill him. Also right
How the fuck do you fuck up a story this badly with a cast this good. I have no idea
Can't bring myself to rate it below three stars just cause McConaughey's in it drag this pile of shit on his back alone. Everything else was way too garbage to even get half a star
If he wasn't in this, it'd get one star max
McConaughey's bare ass and the bdsm with black guys bothered me less than the godawful plot of this trainwreck

This one just didn’t hit for me. It felt as if there was four stories going on all at the same time and none of them could grab me. I just couldn’t really get into the movie, was not for me.

just stumbled onto this one today staying inside from the weather, and sure glad i did. zac efron was such a good actor in his younger days, and mcconaughey always puts on a show. these southern gothic style films have really grown into my favorite genre

holy shit that was terrible. why did they make that. the only semi redeemable part was the graininess i really liked. and with a cast like this, to squander it this catastrophically is a pretty astonishing feat.
