I was actually more disappointed with this film than I was initially expecting, it’s really not as good as I thought it would be. The Colonel was lowkey aggravating me for most of the movie with the whole officers not working and him having his hurt men work and a bunch of other shit, he was kind of the villain and especially was at the end. I do understand a bit where he was coming from but I still didn’t like him. The whole covert operation to blow up the bridge also felt a bit shoehorned into the movie, I kind of wished they focused more on the actual prisoner situation. The beginning was very good though, I will admit and the very end was solid too but it is very drawn out and doesn’t really have any character I wanted to cheer for, most of the characters are pretty polarizing. I might watch again but don’t have the hugest of urges to do so.
