after reading a review about Amiko, i could understand the movie in a deeper way than i first did after finishing the movie. this is beautiful, it makes me sad that it is such a hard movie to watch. the soundtrack by ichiko aoba must be praised as well, it changes everything, shes a genius.

did i watch this just because ichiko aoba? yes!

really good performance by kana osawa, she naturally played her role in this very heavy slice of life drama, the daily sad dark moments and her light comedy are contrasted well.

the contrasts between the doom and gloom of her family, and amiko herself really were balanced well.

and carried by ichiko's amazing score. very hard to watch yet still sweet.
