Pieces of history that aren’t explained enough! A strange hybrid of The Revenant and The Lighthouse: a slow burn of relentless survival, isolation, and the creeping frustration of dwindling hope. The pacing often stretches the tension thin, making the expedition feel as drawn-out as it presumably would have been in reality—which I guess can help with immersing the viewer to really feel the drag of it all. The acting, the plot, and the atmosphere is great as a whole, but the story doesn’t quite deliver enough unexpected twists or true terror to make the stakes feel as urgent as they should. It’s compelling in parts, but ultimately more of a meticulous mood piece than a gripping survival thriller

Cried thrice, peak.
Crashed out during;
“What did they tell you back when you joined us in Raykjavik?”
“Well, I know it’s to do with the Americans and their claim of some land. But, to be honest, Captain, I was just excited to go on a trip to Greenland with you,”
And;
“This is why we came, it’s beautiful isn’t it?”
“Beautiful? I don’t really understand why what we found is so important, but seeing you smile, Captain, seeing you laugh…”
I can make everything gay thank you
