Story time!
Was watching this on cable with my mom while we had some time to kill on Christmas Eve. About halfway through the movie some serious wind swept through our neighborhood. We could hear some branches falling off the nearby trees and trickling off the roof of the house. There was one particularly loud branch but we thought nothing of it.
About 30 minutes pass and my puppy, Roo, decided to rise from being curled up under a blanket and headed to the sliding door to go outside in the backyard, likely to just use the bathroom.
I let her out and followed along to check that the gates were closed (sometimes my parents forget to close them and I get very anxious). I checked each gate and went back to Roo who was by the back of the fence. I look up and notice that a huge branch had broken off our neighbors tree and absolutely destroyed one section of our fence. A fun little Christmas present for us to deal with. Good news is no one was hurt, our house and the neighbors are fine, and Roo can still frolick around despite the damage that occurred.
I only got to 3/4 of the movie because I went to deal with this situation, but I thought it was actually extremely cute. Watching this the day after a series of pictures of Bill Clinton were released in the Epstein files was also great timing.
