felt it stretch a bit towards the end but the movie is too pretty not to give it 5 stars

a beautifully made movie that should give more attention. The Conformist is like watching fascism dressed in hypnotic shadows and elegant camera moves, where every frame is so beautiful it almost distracts you from how disturbingly empty the main character really is.
