Extremely interesting, thoughtful and informative documentary. I am so amazed by the efforts of the TAG/Act-Up activists and their incredible organizational skills and accomplishments. They fought for their lives when no one else did.

I don’t think I have ever been more emotional while watching a documentary. It is such a heart-wrenching film. The way all of the archival footage is edited together is just brilliantly done.

now let me preface what i’m about to say by saying that i do not believe that AIDS is not funny nor a laughing matter at all. that being said, when we were discussing AIDS in this week’s lecture in my public health class, i recalled the south park episode regarding AIDS where cartman gets AIDS from a failed tonsillectomy and infects kyle with it after kyle laughs at cartman for having AIDS. when i remembered that episode, i laughed to myself for a few minutes, then realized the gravity of the lesson i was sitting in, and instantly realized how terrible i probably looked. again, AIDS is not funny at all. i’m not just sure about that, i’m HIV positive about it.
