It was a solid watch overall. The concept itself is pretty interesting and different, and the intro really hooked me. Seeing them as kids, with the music and the use of colors, felt very well done and set a nice tone from the start.
The cast is good on paper, but honestly the one who truly stands out is Russell Crowe. With all his experience, he delivers a strong performance and carries a lot of the film’s weight. The rest of the cast is fine, no one is bad, but they do not really leave much of an impression either.
The robbery section is kind of fun to watch, but it does not add much to the story. It feels more like filler than something that truly pushes the plot or the characters forward. The movie is quite short, and I actually think giving it a bit more runtime to flesh out the characters and their motivations would have helped a lot.
On a technical level, the soundtrack works well and the camera work is solid. But what really stood out to me was the location. That house is incredible and yeah, I would absolutely love to live somewhere like that.
