To be able to materialize energy in front of people’s eyes. To use your body as a paint, sound, picture. Thoughts and feelings were beaming from her eyes. To be present in that energy is like stalling , like an objection to move with time. Art is always larger than life. Wanna be like her someday lol not that kind of artist but to be able to connect with the world and being self aware and open. To be almost translucent.

watched this whilst doing my art course work and i realised how awful and stifling fine art is as a course and how i shouldnt be doing it. my stupid teacher telling me what to do and how i shouldnt draw oranges i should draw cabbages or some random shit. what makes art art is such an interesting question and i dont see why people should be made to create art that doesnt hold significance to them and their experiences, i found this super interesting her whole process leading up to the exhibition and felt very inspired, i want to create something this important to me, if only i wasnt doing stupid fine art. i want to project images and create pieces that actually matter to me but nooooo
