This is honestly one of the most beautiful pieces of film (if you can really call it that) that I’ve ever watched. I feel bad for anyone who hasn’t heard Rodriguez's story, let alone listened to his music. 

I personally hadn’t heard of him until four days ago when my friend played his album when we were in the car. 

It’s truly life-changing the way Rodríguez conveys his message through his music, and this documentary beautifully encapsulates that. 

If you take anything from this, let it be this: be open minded and give this documentary and his music a chance.

i remember listening to Rodriguez's debut album many many years ago. i purposefully didn't look up anything about him because i knew this documentary existed. in a way this was the ideal experience since i also built up the mystery of Rodriguez in my head and now i finally have some answers.
