Next month, I plan on watching some documentaries so I'm going to reviews thee differently then any other film despite th efants that I could apply this to fiction film. It's my account, bitch.> Best cover of Teenage Dirtbag> Fuck, Souix City. As an Iowan, I can say that.Pros:
- The wide variety of kids and their individual problems with bullying and how they handled it made them all stand out.
- The film delivers it's message in a way that isn't subtle, but is necessary.
- Not absolutely laughable like Sound of Freedom
- The film, for the most part, doesn't seem exploitative of people's suffering.
- Understanding to nearly everybody.
- Flies by pretty well for the most part.
Cons:
- Address more about the sides of the bullies and why they do what they do.
- Better cameras exist guys. OVERESPOSURE!
- Emotionally manipulative music that, does work at points but is cheesy in others.
- Some repetitiveness and more attention placed other specific kids that makes it feel bizarre when they cut to a kid we haven't seen in like 30 minutes.
Moral Dilemma:
The film is extremely justifiable in its actions, placing strong emphasis on what needs to be done and, unlike Sound of Freedom, is much more easy to relate to. My biggest issue is the occasional lidiling by from the filmmakers when they should probably be stepping up. It did get the word out there, so.......
