Not entirely convinced on many parts of the dialogue, but I guess every young twenty-something-year-old says cringy stuff. I can see why many are turned off by this amateurish mumble-core style, but I definitely felt the sincerity underneath the messy presentation.
Maybe as a fellow asian 22yr-old student, who feels disconnected from her cultural heritage and has struggled with self-worth after having to end a three-year relationship in a bit of a traumatic way, maybe all of that coincidentally hit a bit too close to home. I was sobbing at the emotional climax lol
