A smart, campy horror thriller with the sexiest antagonist ever. The script may not be the most logical, but the actors do their best with what they are given. There’s some really tense sequences here and there.

wow this was honestly a good movie to sit down and watch but not gonna lie the mom kind of pissed me off in the beginning when she would not listen to her daughter telling her that her psycho fiancé was literally trying to kill her and sleeping around and it literally took her until the daughter showed her the picture to then believe her but this was such a good thriller probably one of my new favorites it im being honest it also my girl janey didn’t deserve to die literally did her so damn dirty

What if Home Alone was mega horny?
This is a real odd one. Sleazy melodrama, death traps and death trap reversals, a bombastic score. It’s brash. I had trouble with the story just starting with “I know my stepdad is trying to kill me and my mom” because you get more “Nobody believes me!” wheel spinning instead of treating it as a reveal. I briefly thought the main girl was actually crazy (and then that maybe stepdad was a red herring). Nope, she’s right the whole time. Doesn’t change. Oh, and she fucks the guy who knocked up her friend that she got killed. It’s horny. Then you get to a home invasion in the theatrical Wait Until Dark mold (but not in an Eyes Of A Stranger way - this flick is horny, not grimy).
