I really wanted to like this movie a not too long hostage situation with Jason Segel and Jesse plemons how could this go wrong.
Wellll let’s just say apart from some interesting shots and a very enjoyable score it’s a huge snooze i expected more character growth or even fleshing out the characters more with each others differences but it all just felt super meh. It didn’t even feel like a thriller at all the fact that the poor working class man had to die all over the actions from the tech billionaire definitely felt like a choice to emphasize the fact that his selfish actions have no punishment for him it’s the classes below him that keep taking the hit.
Overall I didn’t feel much with this film as a experience or social commentary
