The way the killer reveal was executed was sooo gaggyyyy!!! And don’t even get me started on Jeff’s revenge sequence!! Another addition to horror’s best final boys!

Can we talk about how the characters are actually compelling and multidimensional and sympathetic?

Well i wanna say that what i really loved about this film is how it starts with it introducing us to the cast of characters we’re gonna be seeing throughout the film and our “final girl” which it then hits you with the twist of that girl you thought was gonna be the main one end up being killed off so early into the film which i tend to love films that take this route because i love the whole idea of them having you see this character who they make you think is gonna be final girl only for her to end up dying first and then you get introduced to the actual final girl of the film who was a bit saddened about seeing die because she wasn’t even killed by the actual murderer but by some lousy outlaws which i did think she had potential of being a cool final girl in my own opinion if she had lived longer but i did also love that the main guy of the film ended up getting his revenge for both his girlfriend and also the main girl of the film i just loved watching him shoot and kill every single one of those men and sure the kills in the film were out there but i did like how they gave the killer a kind of killing pattern on how he killed his victims with it being him slicing their throat each time but there is one thing i didn’t like about the film and it was the killer reveal i felt it was a bit terrible because they could have made a actual interesting person the killer instead of it being the typical sheriff who was your average misogynist anyways i still had a great time with the film and that the slasher genre will always be so beloved to me <3
