A sort of Devil Wears Prada, but in a more chaotic and experimental way. It's a film I don't have a very defined opinion about, but it definitely left me with a really nice feeling, full of inspiration!

I really liked the protagonist. I feel that the fact that he's a person with so many things against him makes it easy to empathize with him, and his dynamic with Elizabeth is quite fun to watch.

I also loved the dreamlike scenes. Besides being visually beautiful, they're an interesting way of showing us how the protagonist feels.

the fact that julio torres actually knows Spanish and isn’t a no sabo kid made this movie super special to me, it also made me realize that im actually pretty privileged that i was born in the us (even tho i dont live there) and how other people tend to struggle just to do what they really want to do 

even though its a comedy i sobbed at the end
