after File 01 went off with a bang , Koji Shiraishi keeps the same handheld , mockumentary crew , Kudo , Ichikawa and Tashiro , and sends them after a ghost video filmed by kids in an abandoned school.
It starts quieter than the slit mouthed woman case , which is exactly why it works as a second chapter , it lets you settle into their weird , bickering dynamic before anything truly strange happens.
and it's starting to be a real second chapter
what really lifts the film is Yuki.
the investigation shifts away from the shaky school footage and turns into a deep dive on her , the shivering ghost the kids caught on tape, and suddenly the story gains a pulse.
Shiraishi uses that slow build to lull you , then exploits it to completely disorient you in the latter half , and Yuki's tragic backstory is the thread that ties the jokes , the scares and the escalating madness together.
by the time the final thirty minutes hit , you're not just watching another haunted school tape , you're invested , and that's what makes File 02 feel like the moment Kowasugi stops being a one off and becomes a saga.

There were signs in the first episode.
But holy fuck, Kudo is the most unhinged protaginst In the history of paranormal activity shows.
I feel like Kudo just tries to find excuses to beat the shit out of everyone in the room.
Also I thought that if you used the hair amulet you would die or something?
But they used it "to use the power of a curse against the power of demons".
????

Episode kedua dari series ini menceritakan penyelidikan Kudo dan Ichikawa terkait video penampakan hantu di gedung terbengkalai.
Di episode kedua karakter Kudo semakin diperjelas dan dipertegas, bahwa om² ini karakternya ambisius dan agak brengsek terhadap rekan kerjanya wkwk, kasian njir mbak ichikawa dua episode dikasarin😭 cukup menarik kenapa mbak Ichikawa bisa sabar bekerja dengan Kudo.
Dan yang buat karakter Kudo menjadi menarik di episode ini adalah, dia nyadarin orang kerasukan dipukul😭 dan bukan cuman cowok, yang cewek jugaaa😭 wkwk.
Karakter agresif Kudo menjadikan series ini lebih menarik, dramatis, intens, dan bahkan menjadi comical releaf di tengah situasi yang sedang tegang.
Dan lucunya orang yang dia pukul sadar semua😭 terus dia kayak "Lho berhasil?" Wkwk.
