These are so good! Considering how low budget they are, what they're able to pull off is even more impressive. The whole 'less is more' mantra works wonders here and adds to the faux documentary style

*Kudo's methods hit again.
It felt like something was missing for the whole 20 starting minutes, before Kudo came back from the hospital.*

Whenever the situation gets desperate, he is always ready to extract the Hair Amulet and slap people's faces.

In this one, he even had to hand-to-hand fight a Kappa near a pond.
I hope the next movies return to the paranormal themes of the first one, leaving behind the action-based events for something more hidden and sinister.
*Didn't hate on this, anyway.

The Kappa is a strange folklore cryptid, and the fact this involved the sad stories of children drowning clearly left me creeped out.

The final part that took a little body horror component was kinda inconclusive, like the other movies of the series.
*Like someone said, they keep shooting until the events get to a critic point.

I expect to see some of the unsolved misteries come back in the next episodes, just like the Kuchisake-Onna's Amulets still come back anytime they need a stronger curse to fight the actual one.

Oh fuck yeah this was insane. Was disappointed by the lack of Kudo at first but then my man returns by escaping from the hospital and immediately starts up his whacky shenanigans. This man punches a kappa in the face. This is peak cinema.
Also was not aware kappa did that to peoples balls and mildly disappointed that didn’t happen in the movie.
