Chaotic horror stuff. Crazy people, and absolutely insane plotlines. Holy fuck what have I even witnessed. Kudo has honestly never been so unhinged, hes lost it completely. He's torturing people now. We do frown upon it. This is the funniest entry by far. I love this and I don't know what is going on. absolute madness. Complete bullshit in the best way. shout out to Ichikawa and Tashiro for maintaining some sense of normalcy.

Hello Koji Shiraishi! It's always somebody pulling their girlfriend into some crazy shit sending these tapes in, isn't it? I also think that mental hospitals in the Shiraishiverse might be the least secure places in the world. I also think Kudo beating that scientist is the first time I've been fully supportive of Kudo abusing people around him (excepting Kudo method situations, which I always support), and the second and third times happen to be in this movie too. I also think that, given how much of a scumbag Kudo is, it's shocking how sad it is to discover that Kudo is literally the root of all his own emotional problems, and how touching it is when his father tacitly forgives him, telling him to challenge his destiny.

In some ways the production value has hit a new low. This movie rules though. I love idols, and I love janky horror that feels like somebody's Call of Cthulhu game, and I also love about fifteen other things that this movie is, does, or includes. So this gets five stars from me!!!

Sure the graphics are a little cheesy, but you're doing yourself a disservice if you can't look past them, because this entire series has been building to this. It's getting grander in scope and way more ambitious, but the answers are starting to reveal themselves. Love crazy Kudo with his baseball bat, and the thing in Akari's mouth while her face morphs around it is genuinely creepy.
