“Mom, did God make the bomb?”
Pretty fascinating historically and filled with moments of great interest in its simplistic construction but suffers greatly from a slow pace and repetition. Was definitely expecting a fair amount of nuclear paranoia but Ladybug Ladybug seems more interesting in exploring the effects of that paranoia on different generations, the innate trauma Americans were dealt during the Cold War as the threat of nuclear attack seemed like to strike at any minute. Quietly haunting at times but again the connective tissue can make it feel a lot longer than it is (even at 82 minutes!)
