I really liked his style and found it very intriguing. The way he structured the movie is interesting, I don’t know if it really works for me here. The perfomaces were good but I didn’t completly connect with the film narratively.
I still really looking forward to seeing more of his film as I liked his style a lot.

Ingen film i går fordi jeg er syk og gadd ikke. Twisten i denne filmen var så lowkey at jeg ikke skjønte hva som hadde skjedd før altfor lang tid hadde gått men overgangen var den beste delen. «I don’t think you really understood the film» etter han har påstått at den er basert på han love it, destroy that arrogant man! Litt voldtekt på slutten alltid ukomfortabelt og ble behandlet ekstremt rart. Jeg hater alltid når en kvinnelig karakter bare er et trappetrinn for en mann å trakke på, og den eneste damen i denne filmen er det for tre forskjellig menn.

I've always been intrigued by meta filmmaking and films about films. This, my first Hong Sang-soo film, Tale of Cinema, however, surprised me multiple times in less than 90 minutes.

But it's not just a film with an interesting twist in it. It tackles difficult subject matters, still maintaining a very self aware and even witty tone. Now having seen Tale of Cinema ad looking qt his filmography, Sang-soo seems like an extremely interesting and most of all consistent filmmaker to me.
