This movie made me feel like I was watching one of those walking tours. Everything is so accurate, the streets, the houses, the clothes, the music, so 1969
I wish Lola all the best, she deserves to live her life in peace and happiness. And how can a woman be so inspiring that, even seeing her in only one outfit, I still want to be as gentle and sweet as she is?

Existential crisis is so real and I relate to the protagonist a lot. The crushing reality that you might not actually achieve your dreams and that you’ve been going in circles and you might find yourself in your mid-to-late 20s, still asking you’re parents for money. I think that’s a fear we all experience from time to time. 

Loved the art direction of the film, especially the interiors. And it makes the protagonist and his disillusionment stand out, metaphorically and literally, since his costume is of a darker palette.

The thin narrative may bore some people, but if you’re on the film’s wavelength, you’ll have a blast,

I love the use of glass in any movie, accidental or not, real world reflections in glass without any camera crew in frame is Magic. This is a lot different looking then any of Jacques Demys work I’ve heard about. LA In the 60s was really something. The end really lost me. 
- “I haven’t got the words down yet, but I know what I want them to do. I’d like them to be sort of a personal testimony, on the insanity of this world.”
- “I’m not going to give up Architecture. I really want to create something, I just can’t seem to wait out the 15 or 20 years it takes to establish a reputation. And then for what? To design service stations and luxury motels.”
