✨ JaNEWary 2026: 13/31 ✨
3 First Films from Legendary Directors, Actors, or Writers: 2/3 Jane Fonda
Were the 1950s real??? I’m convinced it’s the time period I was meant to exist in, which I realize is deeply problematic to say as a woman, but like…..they spoke for one night and got engaged! And he is so unbelievably hot and smart and so is she!
But the sports part of this movie, hey I don’t care.
But really cute and also very strange.
Watch ONLY if you’re above 5’8”

Norman bates was out here looking like Pete Maravich. Jane Fonda is actually pretty good for her debut the plot is fun for a romcom, but the editing and pacing are ehh.
