Controversial take, it’s better than the first one. I think the story is more fun, I loved the fat toy collector as the antagonist, hilarious. It has so many funny pop culture references and subtle adult humor which I love and yet it’s still so nostalgic for me. It has the charm the first one does as well with a little bit of sadness wrapped up in it. It’s just a great film from my childhood. I will watch again for sure.
