Genuinely life changing cinema. Such a beautiful film that captures everything that takes up a life. Unlike any other apocalypse films I’ve seen that involve high budget action scenes or roadtrips, this films focuses on video calls and arguments. Tiny little nothings that steal our time. But when you look back is that stolen time at all. The ending scene almost entirely taking place in an Ouroboros painting is so moving to me. Borderline speechless after watching this which sucks because I wish I had something even close to how this movie makes me feel. Hopefully on a rewatch I will find that. Can’t believe this is the same man who made The Driller Killer.

I have never felt so much while watching a film. The whole time it was like some kind of distress taking over. I don't really know how to express it. It's like a feeling of impending doom. Ugh I don't wanna sound dramatic but for real I have never felt that much emotion throughout an entire movie.

Fairly safe for Abel Ferrara I feel like. Felt like a poor man’s ’Melancholia’. Dafoe has a few great monologues but other than that it’s really uneventful.
