Nobody makes pulp thrillers like De Palma. He’s magic behind a camera.

De Palma has a camera work masterclass. Nicolas Cage is phenomenal and that opening sequence reminds of Touch Of Evil (1958) when the long shots and the lack of cuts. Also the povs rocked too.
