The Phantom of the Opera
Freddy Kruger takes a trip to Victorian London to roleplay as the phantom. Whoever thought of that deserved a raise because it was awesome.
The phantom of the opera 1989 tells the classic story as a slasher movie where Eric will kill anyone for Christine. The story follows the present and past. The present follows Christine doing an audition for a role and the past tells the story of ehat happend. The past and present meet at the end with a final fight against the phantom and Christine. The story is just fun. I liked how they made the classic novel into a slasher.
The character highlights were the definite highlight. The phantom was a good slasher and villian who wasn't afraid to be funny at times. Christine was a good final girl as well bringing a kirsty cotton innocence that I like. The detective was entertaining too.
The kills were pretty good as well. The stalk and kill at the end when they try to rescue Christine was the best one. I also quite liked the skinned alive kill. All tge kills were just cool.
The music wasn't the main focus. The little there was was good though.
Phantom of the opera was a fun time. It was very entertaining and Robert England was awesome as always. Its well worth a watch.

Two things about this movie bother me. The flowers and the decapitation. The time travel is okay. One of my favorite versions.
