This was a very typical early 2000s comedy, not that that’s a bad thing. When I think about it, I’ve never really given much thought to TV anchors, or what goes on behind the scenes, so in that sense this was kind of interesting to see. The cast did a good job, especially Will Ferrell, and I loved seeing all the random celeb cameos throughout the film. However, the comedy didn’t really land for me, especially since some of it relied on second-hand embarrassment, which I absolutely can’t stand. So, overall, not completely my cup of tea, but I'm glad I gave this classic a go.
