“They eat garbage on principle. It….Its not rotten food. It’s good food that has to be thrown away legally. The system is broken. And the evidence is the trash.”

was excited to watch this because I love the OA so so so much, another project from Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling. And the story seemed a bit topical considering some current events from the last few weeks too… lookin’ at you luigi!!!

I think it was a big swing that suffered toeing the line of thriller / drama without perfectly blending the genres. It wasn't strong enough emotionally or thrilling enough to leave a huge impact. But it still didn’t bore me to death and we’ve got Patricia Clarkson and an intense Elliot Page who play more interesting characters. The dialogue was a little corny too at times, and I just thought the ending left me with a lukewarm why did I watch this feeling.

Alexander Skarsgård could convince me to do a lot of things with practically no effort. Whatever you say, you beautiful man!
