honestly, i would’ve lied. denzel washington explores the inevitable consequences of alcoholism and did so with a great performance with a great plot. this film displayed the shackles of addiction and nearing the end, if whip were to lie, he still wouldn't be truly free and would be bound by his addition of alcohol and drugs. my favorite character of flight was whip's plug, dude came in clutch and brought his share to the table. overall, this movie is a gem of the early 2010's and set an example for movies to come.
