the first half of the film felt like watching a film reel of when a character's high-school-sweetheart wife who passed away in reminiscence: it's milky, dreamy and smells like katy perry's teenage dream. it was pleasant to watch and at points it does touched my heart and squeaks cuz it's cute.
but the second half of the movie, it didn't really get to me, the narrative felt weak, felt a bit purposefully tragic, both yearns each other and even at times their lives settled love seems like a forbidden curse they avoid too deliberately:
and man fuck all these directors making sapphics always not have a good ending
