Very interesting. I didn’t feel that the actors had much chemistry at first, but what held my interest was the power dynamic between a young man and an older wealthy woman in the 1940s. There were some incredible cross-dissolves and I enjoyed the cinematography. Love that this was the first film directed by a woman in Norway.
